India – This year AAI- Airports Authority of India inducted 45 electric vehicles for its operations in Indian airports, and plan to achieve 100% electric by 2030. AAI currently working on charging facility for the electric vehicles around air side as well as at city side. Once the charging facility has been improved, vendors and visitors also will be encouraged to move towards electric vehicle. Currently AAI handles 137 airports in India is to be noted.
