India – Indian aviation sector touched 4.1 lakh passengers 3 days ago, said civil aviation minister- Jyotiraditya Scindia. 

Civil aviation minister replied to the query raised by Tamil Nadu MP- Dayanidhi Maran at the Lok Sabha on Thursday. 

Recently air passenger’s are experiencing long queue’s at the airport due to congestion at airport entry point and at security check points. Due to which passenger’s across India missing flights or have to reach the airport atleast 3-4 hrs before the flight departure time. Mr. Maran also enquired about the opening of new airport terminal building at chennai. 

Mr. Scindia said, all these congestion are due to the resumption of air travel after the COVID 19 pandemic. All the countries around the world have experienced congestion and India at this time managed to avoid large delays or congestion due to the efforts of civil aviation sector employees said the minister.
