India – Indian aviation regulator DGCA – director general of civil aviation advises airlines to formulate their policies on pet’s carriage in aircraft cabin and prominently display on their website. As per Indian aircraft rule 1937, airlines are allowed to carry pet animals, birds and reptiles in the aircraft and the responsibility of the safety of the aircraft remains with PIC-pilot in command. United States of America aviation regulator FAA -federal aviation administrator also has permitted airlines to formulate their rule regarding the carriage of pet animals onboard is to be noted.
